If
you ever had a Commodore computer, you cannot fail to have heard
of Jim Butterfield, or at least have read an article or book of
his. You may even have been lucky enough to have attended one
of his talks.
Sadly, after battling cancer, Jim died
in Toronto on 29th June, 2007.
Jim was the Commodore "Guru"
and a mentor to many, as well as a husband and a father. This
Memorial Book is for those who would like to leave their
memories of Jim, and is being run with the blessing of his immediate
family and friends.
Please feel free to leave your thoughts
and memories of Jim, and include a link to your own Web pages
if they relate directly to Jim ... my own tribute page is here.
You don't have to give an email address,
but please at least ay where you're from and use your real name.
Your email address will appear "disguised",
with the dots and @ signs replaced with ~DOT~ and ~AT~. Of course,
you'll need to replace these
with the correct characters if you want to use the email address.
Please note that your message may be
reformatted to make it easier to read and, at least at the moment,
messages will be limited to about 4000 characters.
If you have any problems, please let
me know.
Mike Todd, Rothbury, England
- 7 July 2007.
